The SDF in Deir Ezzor launched a mass attack against Isis in Safafinah. Operation Round Up has entered the city, as in Susah, and presses the Islamic State. Meanwhile, arrests of jihadists are multiplying

The SDF in Deir Ezzor launched a mass attack against Isis in Safafinah. The Operation Round Up (Jazeera Storm) troops arrived at the outskirts of the city and started a battle against the Islamic State militiamen. Meanwhile, the east axis of the Syrian fighters continues to fight Daesh on the outskirts of Susah, advancing though slowly. The Arab-Kurdish force in a few hours advanced by 8 kilometers in the quadrant, thanks to the around 60 air raids of the Global Coalition. Furthermore, during the clashes over 75 jihadists were killed and several of their infrastructures and command centers were destroyed. At the same time, terrorist arrests in the area are multiplying, including many foreign fighters and even some women. There are, however, several local fundamentalists. The last 4 were taken only yesterday in the Hajin area.

The Syrian army (SAA) launches a campaign against the FSA north of Aleppo. Attacks both towards the buffer zone of Turkey and Idlib. Here the war between HTS and Daesh continues

Meanwhile, the Syrian army (SAA) tries to enlarge the controlled territory to the north, on the border with Turkey. The SAA launched several attacks against the FSA north of Aleppo. One with artillery in the Hariytan area and the other in Jibreen (Tal Rifaat). The goal is to reach the limit of the buffer zone imposed by Ankara and the margins of the province of Idlib. Here continues the war between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Isis with attacks on fortifications and targeted killings. In the last hours unknowns have ambushed and killed elements of HTS at Jisr al Shughour. There are no official confirmations, but it is very likely that the action is the work of the Islamic State, as a revenge for attacks on its units in recent days.
