Isis Is Fleeing From Syria: Hunted From Deir Ezzor To Suweida, To Idlib

Isis militiamen, besieged in all Syria, try to escape towards safe areas. At Deir Ezzor they attack the army of Damascus (SAA) to move away from the SDF, while at Suweida they are withdrawing to avoid direct confrontation

Isis is fleeing from all over Syria. The Islamic State militiamen at Deir Ezzor, besieged by the SDF of the Operation Round Up (Jazeera Storm) between Hajin and Harse, try to retreat westwards, to the area of the Badia desert. In order to do this they attacked the army of Damascus (SAA) in the city of Hamdan, near Abu Kamal (Al Bukamal). And at Suweida the Daesh jihadists try to avoid a direct confrontation with the SAA, preferring to give ground to the soldiers rather than face them. In a very few days, in fact, the militaries conquered about half of the pocket of resistance of the terrorists, gaining over 30 kilometers. As a matter of fact, they are advancing in East Rizema and Ramiya, as well as in the direction of Mahra Rashid, Tal Salim Al-Luf and Tall Al Safa. However, in the while, the quadrant is being constantly bombarded and the IS attempts to retreat towards the west have obtained poor results.

At Idlib, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) is going after the Islamic State militiamen, and, at the same time is preparing to face the offensive of Damascus. The Hezbollah guerrillas might also fight together with the SAA

Also at Idlib things are no better for Isis. The Islamic State jihadists are forced to escape not only from the Syrian army, but also from the soldiers of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) who are chasing them in the south of the province. In the last days, moreover, arrests of members of Daesh – and also of the collaborationists who want the reconciliation with Damascus – increased in the whole quadrant. The arrests are going on while the regime is preparing for a mass offensive in the area. Leaflets also were launched over the area to warn the population of the risks of supporting the rebels. In parallel, the Hezbollah guerrillas, who will probably participate in the maneuvers, are converging towards the near Aleppo. According to local sources just a while ago 12 busses carrying elements of the formation have left Deir Ezzor to reach the north of the middle eastern country.
