The global cyber army in support of Ukraine against the invasion of Russia is enriched with a new unit: Squad303. The team is equipped with a particular weapon, made available to everyone to fight Vladimir Putin’s propaganda: smartphones. Through the 1920.in web page, it is possible to send SMS, WhatsApp messages and telephone calls directly to mobile phones of the Russian population.
Objective: to tell the truth about what is actually happening in the neighboring country, bypassing the stringent censorship imposed by Moscow on the web and social networks. The efforts of the hactivists join those of Anonymous with the #OpRussia campaign and those of the IT Cyber Army of Ukraine in what has been described as the largest cyber warfare operation in history.
