Syria, uneasy calm in Ain Issa after the Turkish air raids on Sayda

Uneasy calm in Ain Issa after the Turkish air raids on Sayda, the first in 17 months on Syrian territory. The tension, however, is skyrocketing. Russia intervenes with patrols on M4 to prevent SDF and pro-Ankara militias from coming into contact

An uneasy calm has fallen in Ain Issa after Turkish fighter bombings on Sayda, the first in 17 months. In fact, there are no attacks or attempts to infiltrate by TAF allied militias. The tension, however, is skyrocketing. Especially after Ankara violated the truce with the air raids on Kurdistan. The Russian military immediately intervened to prevent the SDF from targeting the two Turkish bases in the Syrian region. The Moscow soldiers carried out a patrol with four vehicles on the section of the M4 in the quadrant, accompanied by Kurdish forces. There should be more such deterrence activities in the coming days. The goal is to reduce the chances of the parties coming into contact again. Meanwhile, the Damascus army (SAA) in the area continues to receive reinforcements.
