Turkish artillery is hitting hard the Tel Rifaat area in Aleppo and those of Qamishli and Qahtaniyah in Hasaka. Objective: to weaken the defenses of the SDF in view of the announced TAF ground offensive in northern Syrian Kurdistan. In parallel, Ankara’s drone raids on possible sources of supply for the Kurdish forces in the quadrant and on command centers continue. According to intelligence, there are clear signs that the ground is being prepared for the entry of troops into the area of operations. Not surprisingly, all the targets hit are located not far from the border and in the event of an invasion they would represent the first line of defense of the SDF. On the other hand, Turkey’s response to Moscow, which asked for prudence, was clear: Let’s continue on our path.
