Syria, the SDF stop a commando of 20 pro-Turkey agitators in Tabqa

The SDF stop a commando of 20 pro-Turkey agitators in Tabqa. The group attacked the population trying to put the blame on the Kurdish forces. Ankara wants Kurdistan oil fields at all costs

The SDF arrested a commando of agitators in the province of Raqqa, who launched attacks on the population in Tabqa, trying to put the blame on the Kurdish forces. Local troops captured 20 men and confiscated a large amount of weapons and ammunition. The group also had advanced communications systems and combat suits identical to those of the SDF. There is no official confirmation, but it seems that the terrorists are somehow linked to Turkey. The documents in the possession of some of them, in fact, had been issued by TAF allied formations, which operate in northern Syria. Furthermore, Ankara has long wanted to enter Syrian Kurdistan for its energy resources, but until now it has always been blocked by both Kurdish forces and the vetoes of the international community. Even Russia, a partner in the Middle Eastern country, has rejected the proposal to co-manage the fields.
