The SDF dismantled an important Islamic State logistics cell, active between Raqqa, Hasaka, Kobani and Deir Ezzor. The maneuvers, in which Inherent Resolve participated, led to the arrest of nine jihadists, each from whom he had specific tasks. Five were captured in Raqqa: they were the operational part, but they also spread the IS ideology in the Syrian region. Another, taken at Deir Ezzor, provided weapons to assassin groups, which hit specific targets. Finally, the last three were blocked between Kobani and Tel Tamir. There are no confirmations, but it is believed they could have been the “money people”. The Kurdish forces and the Coalition are working to inhibit the channels and the flow of resources to the militiamen, who will be forced to take greater risks to find them, thus coming out into the open. In fact, in recent weeks there have been several other maneuvers of this type.
