The SDF at Deir Ezzor are ready to attack Isis at Dashisha. The forces of the operation Round Up in the past hours have completed the preparation of the humanitarian corridors, to enable the civilian population to leave the area safely. Moreover, they have received new reinforcements and supplies from Hasakah. Now they are only waiting for the green light to launch the offensive against the stronghold of the Islamic State. Meanwhile, the areas around are cleared of the devices left by Daesh, among which also mini-lasers, that the jihadists had placed inside the houses to slow down the enemy’s offensive. But the militiamen had not considered the inhabitants of the quadrant. And it was them, as a matter of fact, to report to the Arab-Kurdish troops in the Middle Euphrates Valley (MERV) where the bombs had been placed. Moreover, the ISF are continuing to keep under pressure the fundamentalists on the other side of the border between Iraq and Syria, by carrying on shooting with the artillery on the IS posts.

In the meantime, the Syrian army (SAA) is continuing with its offensive against Isis in the Badiya desert. The soldiers in the last hours have taken away from Daesh the control over various areas around the petrol fields of Ward, Muazilah, Tammah and Faydat Bin Muwayni. As a consequence of this, the area of influence of the Islamic State on the territory has been further reduced and the militiamen are pushed more and more in the west. Also the defenses of the SAA are still holding at Abu Kamal (Al Bukamal), despite the great use of snipers made by the jihadists. These are, however, under a two-pronged attack in the southern quadrant. On the western side of the Euphrates there are the militaries of Damascus. On the eastern one, the SDF that have launched an attack at Hajin, so that near the city there are violent fights going on and the artillery of Inherent Resolve is providing support to the Arab-Kurdish forces in the field.
