Syria, the Islamic State is one step ahead of the SAA west of Deir Ezzor

The Islamic State is one step ahead of the SAA west of Deir Ezzor. Double attack by pro-ISIS jihadists against soldiers and workers of an oil field. The Syrian military launch yet another round-up, but to no avail
The jihadists of the Islamic State west of Deir Ezzor continue to be one step ahead of the Syrian army (SAA) and allied militias. This is confirmed by the latest attacks by pro-ISIS militiamen, which took place in al-Kharatah and in the Al-Masrab desert. In the first case, ten workers from the oil field in the area died as a result of the explosion of an IED as the vehicle in which they were traveling passed by. In the second, a National Defense Forces (NDF) post on the al-Madhoul road was targeted. The SAA immediately initiated a full-scale round-up in the quadrant, but this has so far yielded no results. The soldiers, in fact, despite all the efforts and air support from Russia, are unable to find and eliminate the IS cells operating in the region and which continue to ambush the soldiers deadly thanks to mobile command centers.
