New violent battle between the Syrian army (SAA) and Isis in the Badia al-Sham desert. The triangle between Aleppo, Hama and Raqqa is the scene of a maxi operation by the SAA with Russian air support to eliminate the large IS resistance pocket. In the past few hours, soldiers have begun to close the road between Athria and Tabqa to the jihadists. The latter reacted with a violent attack, which caused the death of five soldiers and nine militiamen. Meanwhile, security has been strengthened in all the cities of the quadrant and in particular those in Deir Ezzor. It is feared, in fact, that the terrorists may carry out raids in revenge against the maneuvers in progress.
