The SDF and Inherent Resolve react to the attack on the bases at the Al-Omar / CONOCO oil fields in Deir Ezzor, launched by pro-Iran militias, with a massive raid campaign. International Coalition fighters and helicopters have taken off and are currently patrolling the skies over Mayadeen, as well as surrounding areas. Furthermore, the Arab-Kurdish forces are hitting the western bank of the Euphrates with artillery. Objective: to intercept the groups that have targeted the base with rockets and mortar shells, before they flee towards the desert. Some posts along the river have already been destroyed so far, but the counter-offensive will continue until a later date. Fortunately, the militia attack caused no casualties but only minor damage. It was, however, a cowardly action, as the Shiite groups allied to the Syrian Army (SAA) had never been targeted by either the SDF or Inherent Resolve. Until now.
