Syria, Russia “warns” pro-Turkey militias about the new invasion

Russia “warns” pro-Turkey militias about the new invasion in Syria. The wave of raids in Idlib is a message: stop or we will resume hitting you systematically. Moscow cannot afford a partner war with the offensive in Ukraine underway

Russia’s new signal against Turkey’s possible new invasion of Syria is being delivered directly to pro-Ankara militias. In recent days, Moscow fighters have carried out at least eight bombings on faction posts n Idlib, the last of which involved the villages of Mashon and Belshoun in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, near the M4. The message is clear: stop or we will resume hitting you systematically. Not surprisingly, before 6 July, the last strike in the area occurred two months before. Moscow is trying in every way to stop a new Peace Spring in Kurdistan. Especially after Damascus sided with the Kurds and sent the army (SAA) to fight alongside the SDF. Russia, in fact, cannot allow a war to break out between two allies, moreover in a territory that is essential for carrying out its offensive in Ukraine.
