Syria, pro-Iran militias in Deir Ezzor are now also recruiting young women

Pro-Iran militias in Deir Ezzor are now also recruiting young women. They are required for non-military activities, primarily in hospitals. Tehran aims to expand its influence in Syria thanks to 3 pillars: recruitment, new bases and economic growth
Pro-Iran militias east of Deir Ezzor further develop the local civilian recruitment campaign and now also admit young women. Volunteers will be able to participate in all non-military activities. In particular, they are in demand as nurses in group-controlled hospitals and medical centers. The Syrian girls who decide to enlist will have a salary of 300,000 Syrian pounds (about 100 euros) and will be trained with specific courses entirely funded by Tehran. The recruitments first began with men (who were granted numerous benefits such as free treatment, high salaries and reduced working hours) and then involved young people and children, thanks to the affiliation of the schools to the Iranian Culture Center. The goal is always the same: to increase influence in the Middle Eastern country, thanks to a plan that is based on three pillars: recruitment, new bases and economic growth.
