Syria, new Russian air raid campaign against Isis in Badia

New Russian air raid campaign against Isis in Badia. In a few days, almost 100 strikes against IS positions between Raqqa, Homs, Hama and Deir Ezzor

New Russian air raid campaign on Isis positions in the Badia al-Sham desert. The Moscow fighters in the past few hours have carried out almost 100 strikes, of which at least 25 only yesterday, to support the Syrian army (SAA) offensive in the area between Raqqa, Homs, Hama and Deir Ezzor. Their intervention was necessary as the jihadists of the Islamic State continue to ambush the soldiers, despite the recent deployment of Russian troops to protect the SAA convoys and bases in the quadrant. The militiamen, in fact, are now targeting enemy units that are more isolated and distant from their comrades, as confirmed by the killing of some soldiers towards Palmyra, far from the front line. This is at the Deir Ezzor-Homs highway, but there have already been several terrorist attacks behind it, particularly along the internal road from Deir Ezzor and Palmyra.

Meanwhile, the SDF hit the Islamic State facilitators networks in Eastern Syria

In the East, meanwhile, the SDF continue to target the Isis logistics and support network. In the last few hours, Kurdish forces together with Inherent Resolve have arrested three facilitators of the Islamic State in Al-Fadin. These were in charge of supplying money and weapons to the operating cells in Deir Ezzor. In addition, they had participated in some attacks in the quadrant. Two other IS jihadists, on the other hand, were captured in Al-Ozbaa and Al-Tayyanah. Both were part of terrorist fire groups and were involved in various raids. Finally, a leader was taken to Busayrah. The man seems to have been responsible for the most serious attacks that recently took place in the Syrian province.
