Syria, new chapter in the war of the leaflets

New chapter of the war of the leaflets in Syria. The latest, released in the past few hours and associated with Israel, threaten the SAA due to the presence of Hezbollah in Tel al-Qalib. They are identical to those of December 2022

New chapter of the war of the leaflets in Syria. This time it is Israel that uses them to communicate with the leaders of the Damascus army (SAA). An anonymous leaflet, but associated with the Jewish state, announces that the presence of Hezbollah in Tel al-Qalib, on the border between the two countries, will no longer be tolerated. This was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The flyers, identical to those released in December 2022, in addition to the text, show the silhouette of an eagle: the symbol of the IDF 210th Bashan Division, which has the task of defending Israel’s border with Syria. The leaflets released last year followed a strike in the area; those circulating in the past few hours, however, are not linked to any similar episode in the area. Therefore, it is not excluded that they are a warning in anticipation of an imminent strike in the quadrant.
