Syria, Isis retreats in Deir ez-Zor against SDF even if with reduced ranks

Isis has surrendered another piece of Deir ez-Zor against the SDF who are fighting with reduced ranks

SDF south of Deir ez-Zor has chased Isis out of Madaan, a district of Gharanij. Next step will be to take away from Daesh the control of Bahrah. The area is already under pressure by Cizire Storm (Al Jazeera) on two sides; but launching of the offensive will be subject to the cleaning up of all the territories around. That in order to avoid surprises encountered recently. Moreover, Syrian fighters are operating with reduced ranks, as part of the army is directed towards the north of the country to stop turkish offensive (Olive Branch). The last of which, a convoy of approximately 60 vehicles, has left the Omar oil fields towards Manbij. The objective is to join their companions and reinforce the Kurd defenses in Rojava against the attacks Ankara forces and their allies.

The International Coalition’s fighter aircrafts are constantly carrying out aimed raids against Daesh, thus allowing the Kurdish army to advance

Isis, at Deir ez-Zor is retreating again also thanks to the action of the International Coalition. Jets of Inhernet Resolve, have, from 18 to 25 January, carried out 60 raids in the area south of Deir ez-Zor. Strikes happened in the quadrant of Abu Kamal (Al Bukamal), in support of SDF. In all, actions against Daesh have been 101 engagements with various targets: from the lines of communication to the supply routes of the Islamic State in the area, to the tactical units, through the command centres, shelters, and deposits of weapons and ammunition. The constant and targeted bombing has made it possible for Cizire Storm resume advancing against Isis. Although reduced in number. Amongst the strikes, in fact, there is also the one on As Shahaf (20 January), in which between 145 and 150 jihadists were killed in one blow.
