Syria, Isis has nearly lost Bahrah while the SAA is ready to invade Ghouta

The SDF have nearly succeeded in chasing Isis out of Bahrah, also thanks to the support of theUS-led Coalition

The SDF have almost succeeded in chasing Isis out of Bahrah. The troops of Cizire Storm (Al Jazeera), after a break, due to very bad weather conditions (3 consecutive days of rain), have resumed moving in the city against Daesh. And now they control the greatest part of it. This also thanks to the intervention of the US-led Coalition. The battle, however, continues both in the residential area as well as in the surrounding rural areas. The jihadists have been pushed towards the eastern bank of the Euphrates and had to retreat southwards, in the direction of Hajin and Sha’fah. Here, though, the terrorists are targeted by the air fighters of Inherent Resolve, which only in the period from 9 to 25 February, carried out 39 raids against 55 targets of the Islamic State. All of these at Deir Ezzor either in support of the Syrian fighters or to undermine the defenses of the terrorists.

The Syrian army is getting ready for the final battle against the HTS at Ghouta. Also making use of the recruitment of young fighters at Deir Ezzor

Meanwhile, the Syrian army (SAA) is getting ready for a ground invasion against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Islamic State at east Ghouta. This is done through a campaign based on air raids on all the cities of the quadrant. Arbin, Douma, Hazzah, Awtaya, Al-Aftris, Al-Nashabiyah, Hamouriyah, Jisreen, Kafr Batna, Al Zureiqa, Ayn Tarma and Jobar. The rebels of HTS, who are also fighting Daesh at the refugee camp of al-Yarmouk, have carried out a raid against the forces of Damascus at the Harasta hospital. The latter are also trying to advance on the Duma front. The SAA, according to different local sources, is recruiting as many fighters as possible. Also by means of the conscription, especially of young people, at Deir Ezzor and Raqqa. The result is that numerous families have complained for the indiscriminate arrests of youngsters in the governorate to be sent later to Ghouta. Meanwhile at al-Yarmouk the ex al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State are continuing to fight for the control of the complex.
