Pro-Russian hackers close to the GRU attack institutions, carriers and suppliers with DDoS. The operation is complementary to the Moscow military one: the objectives are shared.
Daesh at Deir Ezzor was locked in only in 3 areas: in the east in the Middle Euphrates Valley (MERV) up to Iraq; in the south between Hajin, Al Susah and Al Sha’afa; in the west in the Badiya desert (Badia) up to Homs. But the SDF and the Syrian army are advancing everywhere
Isis at Deir Ezzor has remained closed only in three areas: in the east in the Middle Euphrates Valley (MERV) at the border with Iraq; in the south between Hajin, Al Susah and Al Sha’afa; in the west in the Badiya desert (Badia) up to Homs. In the first area the SDF of the Operation Round Up (Jazeera Storm) have started to attack the Islamic State posts towards the south. In the second, Daesh is pressed by continuous raids carried out by the ISF of Baghdad and by the International Coalition. Because of this in the past hours there has been another strike, that cost the lives of 9 fundamentalists and among them Abu Ritaj Al-Amani and Mohammed AlMoussa, the heads of the security department of the northern sector of IS. In the last one, finally, the jihadists are enduring the offensive of the army of Damascus (SAA), which has already drastically reduced their operating space, pushing them away from the southern border between Syria and Iraq, and from Abu Kamal (Al Bukamal).
Also on the Iraqi side things are not going well for the Islamic State. In the whole area west of Anbar a massive operation against the trespassing of Isis from Syria is going on
On the other side of the borders between Syria and Iraq things are not going better for Isis. The security forces of Baghdad launched a vast operation in the area west of the province of Anbar. The objective is dual. On one side finding 6 soldiers kidnapped a few days ago by the Islamic State, operation which was successful. On the other, preventing the Daesh militaries to attempt single or mass escapes to avoid the offensives of SDF and SAA at Deir Ezzor. In particular the quadrants of Qaim and south of Tanf are being watched. The constant defeats and the scarcity of resources, in fact, have contributed to creat chaos inside the fundamentalist group. This worsened the existing internal divisions and provoked a series of defections and consequent executions of who was discovered.
