Syria, Isis ad Hajin hit not only by Iran. But also by the Sand Hippos

Not only Iran, but also the Sand Hippos hit Isis in Hajin. The group has made leaders of the Islamic State disappear in the Deir Ezzor stronghold during the attack with the Teheran missiles and for the first time left a mark

Isis ad Hajin was not only hit by Iranian missiles, but also by Sand Hippos. The mysterious group, during the attack, would have made some middle-level commanders of the Islamic State disappear into the stronghold south of Deir Ezzor. It is not clear whether the Daesh chiefs are dead or arrested and taken away in silence. What is certain is that their men looked for them in the morning in the city, but without finding any trace. The only thing discovered were some red paint graffiti on the walls of the houses of the leaders, who depicted an angry hippopotamus. It is the first time that the group leaves some trace of itself. So far the only word related to them was WHOOSH, pronounced by the local inhabitants to indicate that the “ghosts” had arrived and then left like the wind.

The Iranian offensive to Deir Ezzor was a “no notice strike”. This confirms that the Sand Hippos are autonomous from the SDF of Operation Round Up (Jazeera Storm), even if they help them in Sha’Fah and Susah

We do not even know if the Sand Hippos coordinated the anti-Isis action in Hajin with the SDF of Operation Round Up (Jazeera Storm). The Iranian attack on the stronghold of the Islamic State at Deir Ezzor, in fact, was a “no notice strike”, as confirmed by the Global Coalition. That is, it happened without the other actors in Syria being warned in advance. As a result, it could be a hit and run operation, in which the chaos caused by the sudden arrival of the Teheran missiles took advantage. This confirms that the group has wide logistical, movement and freedom capabilities in choosing the Daesh targets. As well as operating independently of the SDF. Elements of the formation are also found in Susah, Sha’fah and Idlib (north). Here, for now, they have not intervened, but they are monitoring the situation carefully, ready to move at any moment.
