Are pro-Iranian militias looking for new bases in Mayadeen? Xix houses in the city at Deir Ezzor have been sized. The pro-Tehran groups want to blend in with the population to reduce the risks of US and Israeli raids

Are pro-Iranian militias looking for new bases in Mayadeen? In the past few hours, the fourth division of the Syrian Army (SAA) has seized six homes in the city of Deir Ezzor. The houses were formally requisitioned as opponents of the Bashar al-Assad regime lived there (the division is commanded by his brother Maher al-Assad). In reality, however, the analysts believe that it is a new attempt by groups linked to Tehran to blend in with the population to reduce the risks of being subjected to air raids by Israel and the United States. Especially after their recent launch of a nuisance campaign against Inherent Resolve bases in Syria and Iraq. Three of the new homes seized are located near the Ali Ibn Abu Taleb school, two near the Blood Bank and the last at the al-Said Hospital.
