New phishing campaign targets Linode users. The lure is a mail request to update the account details via a link. It directs to a fake company login page. The goal is to steal credentials

New phishing campaign targets Linode. User receives an email by the supposed company support, in which is asked to update the account details via a link in the message.

It directs to a fake login page where the potential victim has to digit he’s credentials (username and password).

Once the process has been completed, user is redirected to a page that does not exist, but in the real Linode website.

In the meantime, however, the cybercrime actors have stolen the credentials entered by the user.
