The #AgainstTheWest subgroup announced that it has launched #OpChina, presumably due to the (slightly) veiled support given to Moscow following the invasion of Ukraine. The Anons claim to have already hit numerous targets in the Asian country: from governmental ones to the Alibaba cloud, passing through WeChat and Sinopec. What they predict is the largest cyber warfare offensive ever launched against Beijing and, if it is similar to the one against Vladimir Putin’s propaganda, it risks being a new chapter in what is now consolidating as the first cyber world war in history.
