Cyber Warfare, Iran’s gas stations hacked by the “cyberattack 64411”

Iran’s gas stations hacked by the “cyberattack 64411”. The entire NIOPDC distribution network blocked. Tehran blames an “hostile country”, but up to date there are no clues

Iran’s gas stations have been put out of service by a cyberattack that affected the entire distribution network. It has been reported by many international media. Also the website of the National Iranian Oil Products Company (NIOPDC) has been put offline.  It’s not clear who is behind the attack. Obviously, Tehran blames an “hostile country”, but up to date there are no elements or clues to confirm this. The only certain information is that all the hacked gas pumps hacked showed the message “cyberattack 64411”. Furthermore, the digital billboards on highways showed the messages “Khamenei! Where’s our fuel?” and “Free fuel in Jamaran station.”
